Shoebox Greetings

 

Shoebox was once a coveted greeting card known for it timely and irreverent humor, but it had lost its edge over the years. The guffaws were few and far between and card sales were flat and in some instances declining. It was time to get back to its funny and twisted roots and show a younger audience that it could still bring it.

Our goal was to reintroduce Shoebox and make it part of the comedy culture.

What we did

 

The original assignment was to create 6 videos. We ended up producing over 250 pieces of content ranging from 2 minute videos to static pieces that could be shared.

The new tagline for Shoebox was Hallmark approved, sort of. To capture that feeling of being loved, but misunderstood, we created videos following the real Shoebox creatives with characters from the cards they created.
